Reggie Lamptey
Certified Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist & Coach
Throughout his whole life, Reggie Lamptey has always possessed a natural gift for helping people achieve different health and wellness aspirations. Then one day in 2005 he decided it was time to follow his calling and develop a business where he would be able to dedicate his time and passion to helping individuals reach and achieve their goals. Thus Body Defining, LLC was formed, creating an avenue to reach and assist as many people as possible. Reggie is building a team of elite professionals who each have unique skills which will give Body Defining the depth to cover all aspects of the health and wellness industry.
Prior to creating Body Defining, LLC, Reggie worked as a certified personal trainer at Bally Total Fitness. There he was able to establish and customize his training techniques to help clients reach their objective. During this time he also attended the Institute For Therapeutic Massage where he developed and fine-tuned his natural ability in massage therapy. During his leisure Reggie has spent time working at the South Mountain YMCA teaching a boot camp fitness class, sports classes for children of all ages, and has also assisted in directing a program designed to help build character and develop strong foundations for young adults.
In 2006, Reggie came across a website (www.meridianstretching.com) a program developed and founded by Bob Cooley. Getting more information about the program led Reggie to meet two of his elite flexibility trainers Steve Sierra and Anne Tierney. They have taught Reggie an array of techniques, which has opened a new door in his training ability. Then in July 2007, Reggie had the pleasure of meeting Bob Cooley.
Since his start as a fitness trainer, Reggie has had the privilege to work with a wide variety of clients such as a NFL hopeful wide receiver, martial artists, high school and collegiate athletes as well as clients who work in the corporate industry.
“I enjoy seeing people reach their health and wellness goals, especially if I can be apart of it. I love what I do.”
